A movie and tv fan and this is where my inner fan girl goes wild. Things you will see a lot of include Ed Westwick, Once Upon a Time, New Girl, Friends and any actors/actresses new and old.

allyouneedislovechair: Chuck deserves happiness more than anyone else on this fuckery of a show. I swear that if in the shows finale that boy is not beaming in happiness I will burn every fucking season I have of this show and never watch that bullshit ever again. It is sad. He is the most complex character on this fucking show and it sucks that instead of showing that they have pretty much just fucked all over him every chance they get. Chuck Bass is that person that when you first meet and just get to know him superficially you would hate him. Which is what you get in season 1 during the first episodes. You hate him because you just see his actions. You don’t get intel into his motives or his past or why he is the way he is. I think that I began to fall in love with Chuck when I got to know his character. We were exposed to all his flaws and then throughout the seasons we have learned why he is the way he.  And I think his character is beautiful. The complexity of the issues he faces is great. He is this broken person. Broken from the beginning. Chuck has been a broken soul from his childhood. How tragic is that? a children that never really had a childhood. Who only knew guilt, hate, disappointment and neglect. A boy who never got an “I love you” from his dad and who as a man even after his father is dead still wants his approval. A man that was left without knowing what it felt for your father or mother to be proud of you of what you are. A boy who learned that the expectations for him were always low so he sort of just gave up on himself and on life. He didn’t believe in himself. And you see that again and again in his character. That facade of this person that thinks of himself as the greatest thing in the world but you know that inside he THINKS and FEELS he is worthless and underserving of anything good. He has lived his whole life in a cycle of self hatred and self loathing.  And its sad because you know that in your life you have met people like him…maybe their actions haven’t been as extreme as Chuck’s but you have met people who just give up on themselves because they never had anyone that believed in them. And it makes you angry because you look at them and you see all this  potential that no one has ever appreciate it and you root for them. You root for them to realize that they are worth it…you root for them to come out of their own darkness and realize that there are people who believe in them.  And you know whats the saddest part? That even though those people can be the ones that can hurt their love ones the most…they are also the ones that when they love. THEY REALLY LOVE. They love passionately. They have so much loyalty. It doesn’t matter what you do or what you say those people are the ones that will never give up on you. Don’t get me wrong they might give up on you and them in a relationship or friendship…but in the end they will always believe in you. Always. Chuck is the example of that. Chuck has given up on him and Blair so many times. A lot of times because he acknowledge his flaws his terrible mistakes. But that boy has never lost hope in her. That boy has never stopped believing that she is amazing and perfect the way she is. Chuck has never stop believing in Blair Waldorf with or without him.  The destructive things Chuck has done in their relationship were caused by his insecurities and the ghosts of his past. Which doesn’t make it okay. He understands that. I don’t think he minds paying for his mistakes. He owns up to them at least now he is. But even when he did those horrible things he never lost hope in her…in her as a woman.  Thats why I love them. Because he loves her and appreciates her even when she is not with him. He loves Blair Waldorf the person. Not Blair Waldorf and Chuck Bass. No just Blair Waldorf and when Blair Waldorf is happy …he can come to conclusions with that. He can let that be because he just cares about her…no them together. Just her. I think that makes him the most selfless character on this show. It is such a internal vs. external struggle with him. His selfishness in the eyes of everyone else…but I think that his real friends and Blair…they know how selfless he is. IF they don’t …then I don’t think they really know him. Because who you have a man that has been through so much disappointment, heartbreak and pain….it is selfless for them to put someone elses happiness before their own. Specially after he got to experience it and has only experienced it with Blair. The times he has let go of her …he has purposely and consciously let go and given up on the possibility of him being happy. Thats true love. When you let the PERSON that you have EVER LOVED and LOVED YOU BACK go..let them go even when you know THEY LOVE YOU. You know how hard that is??????? Its almost impossible. Because when we find love we all want to hold on to it and never let it go…but Chuck will…without thinking it twice he will if it means she will be happy. So before you go around and flaunt his 2 biggest mistakes in our faces you should consider understanding him as a whole. Everything he has ever done for her. Everything he has been through. Don’t be a Dan. Don’t just judge people solemnly on their past without even attempting to understand them.     Now excuse me while I go cry for him and all the bullshit he has been through this fucking season.
